Just saying...Just tried to help my grade 2 grand-daughter do her French-school spelling list and we had to switch to Grandma (French-mother tongue) because Grandpa (English-mother tongue) really doesn't have that French accent for dictation - So grandpa thinks ... another reason for flipped learning (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flipped_classroom) especially for multi-ethnic classes where dictations by parents, (grandparents, etc.) are "different". Couldn't teachers video record and upload the spelling list for students to practice at home???
